Obrtničko učilište - ustanova za obrazovanje odraslih (Craft College - Institution for Adult Education) is an adult education institution funded in 2006 by the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, Zagreb Chamber of Trades and Crafts and the Association of Craftsman Zagreb. The goal the College is linking the needs of trades and labour market and adjusting educational programmes to European standards. The tasks of the College are: linking vocational education with economy and regional development, establishing a network system with companies and other educational institutions, taking an advisory role for education institutions and companies in the region, encouraging innovations in crafts as well as offering consultancy services and information for students and parents, future participants in the crafts educational process and European cooperation.

University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing is the largest technical faculty and leading educational and R&D institution in the fields of electrical engineering, information and communication technology and computing in the Republic of Croatia. The Faculty is organized in 12 departments which represent the focal points of education, research and development in various fields. The present research and educational staff comprises more than 160 professors and 210 teaching and research assistants and around 3300 students at the undergraduate, graduate level and PhD students. All those numbers clearly emphasize highly spirited activities in teaching and research. The Faculty has developed valuable international cooperation with many research institutions around the world, either directly or through inter-university cooperation. Regional Chamber of Craft and Small Business Krško is an independent legal entity of public law with voluntary membership. The Chamber has more than 500 members what makes it one of the 20 largest chambers in the Slovenian average. The Chamber is a professional organization and a representative of craft and small businesses. The main tasks are to represent the interests of crafts and small businesses, informing members (information, business meetings,…), provision of services for members (professional visits…), organization of education and training, and public authority (Craft certificates, European certificates).

School Centre Novo Mesto is a public institution which provides public service in the areas of general secondary education, secondary vocational and technical education, higher vocational education and library services. The School Centre is organized in the following organizational units (schools) Secondary school of mechanical engineering, Secondary school of electronics and technical gymnasium, Secondary school of construction, wood processing and preschool, Secondary school of nursing and chemistry, Higher Vocational college and Adult education. Besides the mentioned schools it has also an organizational unit Intra-company Training Centre (MIC) – carrying out practical lessons and trainings and organizing them in companies. Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training (CPI) is a public institution founded by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and co-funded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and the Chamber of Craft and Small Business. It is the central national institution in the field of vocational education and training (VET). It is responsible for cooperation with social partners in the field of VET, for supporting development, research, and implementation of solutions that contribute to the quality of VET in the context of lifelong learning. CPI monitors development trends in the labour market and prepares occupational profiles. It also prepares modern education programmes, monitors the process of the introduction of those programmes, and stimulates as well as coordinates the development of innovation projects in the field of vocational and technical education.
